Clogged drain? Cleared properly, not just poked.

One slow drain is usually a local clog. Several slow drains at once — or water coming up in the tub when you flush — usually points to the main line. We figure out which before we start.

When it’s time to call

  • A sink, tub or shower that drains slowly
  • Gurgling from drains or the toilet
  • Water backing up into the tub when the toilet or washer drains
  • A sewer or rotten smell from a drain
  • The same clog coming back every few weeks
  • More than one fixture slow at the same time

How we handle it

  1. Find where it is

One fixture or the whole house? That tells us whether it’s a local clog or the main line.

  2. Clear it with the right tool

A drain cable handles most clogs. Hydro-jetting clears grease and heavy buildup in sound pipes.

  3. Confirm full flow

We run water through every affected fixture to make sure it’s really clear.

  4. Look inside if it keeps coming back

A camera inspection shows roots, sags or breaks, so you fix the cause instead of paying for the same clog twice.

Before we arrive

  • Stop running water into the clogged drain.
  • Skip chemical drain cleaners — they can damage older pipes, burn skin, and make the drain hazardous to work on.
  • If several drains are backing up, stop using water in the whole house until we’ve looked.
  • Clear the area under the sink or around the cleanout so we can reach it.

Common questions

Why does my drain keep clogging?

Repeat clogs usually have a cause: grease buildup in kitchen lines, tree roots in the main line, or a sagging section where debris collects. A camera inspection tells us which.

Is hydro-jetting safe for my pipes?

On sound pipes, yes. On older clay or cast-iron lines we look with a camera first, because a cracked pipe needs repair, not high pressure.

Can you clear a main-line clog from outside?

Usually, through the cleanout — a capped pipe near the foundation or in the yard. If you don’t have an accessible cleanout, we’ll discuss adding one.
