The way a plumber should treat your home.
You’re letting someone into your house on what’s probably a bad day. Here’s exactly what to expect from us.

Six things we do on every job
A written price first
You get a flat price for the job in writing before any work starts.
Nothing starts without your OK
No pressure. If you want time to think or a second opinion, that’s fine.
Shoe covers and drop cloths
Covers go on at the door. Floors and furniture are protected where we work.
We show you the problem
You see what we found — in person or in photos — before you decide.
Tested before we leave
Every repair is tested, and we walk you through what we did.
We clean up
Old parts and debris leave with us. Your home looks like we were never there.
We show you what’s wrong before we fix it.
A rusted-shut pipe, a cracked fitting, a root-choked sewer line — you should see the problem you’re paying to fix. When we can’t hand it to you, we’ll show you a photo or the camera footage.
Pricing, plainly: a flat price for the job, in writing, before work starts. If we uncover something new, we stop and talk to you before the job or the price changes.

What a visit looks like
Call or book
Call any hour, or request a visit online. Tell us what you’re seeing and where.
We confirm a time window
You get a call back to confirm when we’re coming, and a heads-up when we’re on the way.
We diagnose, then quote in writing
We find the cause and give you a flat price for the job before any work starts. You decide.
We fix, test and clean up
Shoe covers inside, drop cloths down, and we test the repair with you before we leave.

Five questions to ask anyone you call — including us.
Good plumbers are happy to answer all five. Ask us on the phone: (818) 555-0142.
Is your license active?
California plumbing contractors are licensed by the CSLB. You can look up any license number free at cslb.ca.gov before work starts.
Will I get the price in writing first?
A number on paper, for a clearly described job, protects both of you.
Is that the whole job?
Ask what’s included — parts, permit, hauling away the old equipment, and patching.
Who handles the permit?
Water heater replacements, repipes and sewer work often need one. Your plumber should know.
What if the repair fails?
Ask what’s covered and for how long — and get that in writing too.
Straight answers.
Do you really answer at 2 a.m.?
Yes. Emergency service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, weekends and holidays included.
What should I do before you get here?
Stop the water at your main shutoff if anything is leaking, move valuables away from the water, and take a few photos for your insurance. Our emergency guide walks through it.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
We can talk through what’s likely, but we don’t give a firm price until we’ve seen the problem. Then you get it in writing before any work starts.
Tank or tankless — which should I get?
It depends on your household’s hot-water use, your gas line and venting, and where the heater lives. We’ll price both when both make sense. Compare them here.
Do you work on hillside homes?
Yes. Tell us about stairs, steep driveways or tight parking when you book so we arrive prepared.
Will you protect my floors?
Always. Shoe covers go on at the door, drop cloths go down where we work, and we clean up before we leave.
Ready when you are.
Call any hour for emergencies, or book a visit and we’ll confirm a time window.
